Money conversations can make us squirm. We’ve been taught they’re impolite, too personal, somehow unseemly.

But how we think about money — how we talk about it, ask for it, and negotiate it — quietly shapes our professional lives and personal possibilities.

Doing the Math is an intimate Curiosity Connections gathering exploring the relationship between money, value, and worth.

Over brunch we move beyond surface-level money talk to examine:

• the beliefs we carry about money
• how marketplace value actually works
• the systems we navigate in our professional lives
• and the strategies that help us advocate for ourselves with clarity

Living a Creative Life
Featured Guide: Rob Schwartz, Certified Performance & Leadership Coach

Living A Creative Life

After Minding Your Business taught us to protect our peace and prioritize what sustains us, we kicked off 2026 asking: What does it actually mean to live creatively when you’re in the middle of life? Not a start over, but does it mean to recalibrate to align with our inner being.

Rob Schwartz guided us through what creativity looks like beyond your job title. What would it take to stop waiting and start building the life you keep talking about? With honesty and humor, he showed us that living creatively is less about boundaries alone and more about reclaiming clarity, purpose, and joy.

In Curiosity Connections style, seekers and builders gathered over brunch. We examined the daily practices that help us thrive, and the courage it takes to shed what weighs us down.

It was reflective. It was energizing. And it was a reminder that designing the life you want starts with being willing to explore what’s next.

Curiosity Connections isn’t about networking. It’s about building the muscle of curiosity in spaces that welcome all of you.

Minding Your Own Business

After exploring The Power of Your Difference in April, our September gathering turned inward—toward what it truly means to protect our peace and prioritize what matters most. Minding Your Business with Lan Phan, peak performance expert and author of Do This Daily, invited us to rethink success not as doing more, but as aligning our energy with what sustains us.

Lan guided us through questions that still linger: Who were you before the world told you who you needed to be? What are you ready to let go of to fly higher? With honesty and humor, she showed us that minding our business is less about boundaries alone and more about reclaiming clarity, purpose, and joy.

In Curiosity Connections style, a thoughtful group of visionaries and seekers gathered over brunch at the Gansevoort Hotel. Together, we examined the daily practices that help us thrive, and the courage it takes to shed what weighs us down.

It was reflective. It was restorative. And it was a reminder that tending to ourselves is the first step to creating the life and impact we desire.

Power of Your Difference

Following our January launch, Your Next Move, our April gathering went deeper—into what makes each of us a phenomenon in our own right.

This time, we explored The Power of Your Difference with LauraAura Wallace: mindset coach, keynote speaker, and host of The Gutsy Podcast. Known for helping bold humans reconnect with their voice and vision, LauraAura guided us through a soulful conversation on embracing individuality and honoring the parts of ourselves we’ve been taught to quiet down.

In true Curiosity Connections style, 24 visionaries and seekers gathered over brunch to unpack how standing out—when done thoughtfully and authentically—can unlock new possibilities. Together, we examined what happens when we stop conforming and start creating a life that feels like our own.It was tender. It was true. And it was a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is show up as ourselves.Curiosity Connections isn’t about networking. It’s about remembering who you are in rooms that welcome all of you.

Your Next Move Gathering

Featured Expert: Kimberly Brown, Founder - Brown Leadership, Author, Podcaster

Your Next Move

Our very first Curiosity Connections brunch set the tone for everything to come.

Centered around the theme Your Next Move, we invited guests to reflect on growth—not just professionally, but personally. With career and leadership expert Kimberly Brown, author of Next Move, Best Move, we explored what it means to build a career that aligns with your values, your ambition, and your whole self.

Kimberly brought her signature blend of clarity, compassion, and no-nonsense strategy to the conversation. She challenged us to stop shrinking our dreams and instead step boldly into the next chapter—whatever that looks like for each of us.

Over a beautifully curated brunch and heartfelt dialogue, 24 visionaries gathered not just to listen, but to connect—deeply and honestly. We shared stories, asked real questions, and left with more confidence, clarity, and courage than we walked in with. It wasn’t about having all the answers. It was about daring to ask the right questions in a room that felt safe enough to hold them.

Curiosity Connections began with this simple premise: when we stop performing and start connecting, magic happens. And from that very first gathering, it did.
