From Guyana to Turkey to the Globe

Curiosity Connections was born from a quiet rebellion.
As a Guyanese-born, New York-bred executive, I’ve spent most of my life moving between worlds: Between cultures, between expectations, between who I was and who the room needed me to be. I’ve watched the performance of connection eclipse the real thing. So I created the kind of space I was always looking for.
Not a networking event.
A gathering.
Not a place to posture.
A place to land.
What began as a brunch table has become a global circle where stories matter more than status, and reflection is more than a luxury; it’s the key to clarity, confidence, and care.
My co-creator Gizem Öztürk brought her own lens, shaped by a move from Turkey to the U.S. as a teenager and a career leading global learning at TBWA. She often says, “We speak different languages, but we all share the same emotions.” That truth is at the heart of everything we build. From Singapore, to South Africa, to Madrid to New York, from introverts to extroverts, we design for those seeking deeper human connection in response to the always on pull for our attention.
Together, we host curated experiences that blend cultural storytelling that are soul-centered. Our gatherings are intimate, intentional, and rooted in a shared desire to lead more fulfilled lives.
We are not anti-networking. We are pro-human.
This is a return to being, not just doing.
A celebration of difference.
A reminder that care is strategy.
And that curiosity connects us all.
Whether you’re seasoned in your career or just coming into your own, you belong here.
Come curious. Leave connected.
